Question 1

Can I buy and pay for crackers on this website?

Accepted Answer

No, and no firecracker shop in India can let you. The Supreme Court's order of 23 October 2018 prohibits the sale of firecrackers online. This site is an enquiry desk: you pick what you want, send us the list, and we confirm the order and take payment offline the way the law requires.

Question 2

Then how does ordering actually work?

Accepted Answer

Browse the catalogue and add whatever you like to your estimate. Send it to us with your name, phone number and where it has to reach. We call you back to confirm what is in stock, what it comes to including transport, and how you would like to pay. Nothing is booked until you say yes on that call.

Question 3

Is there a minimum order?

Accepted Answer

Yes — ₹5,000 before delivery charges. Crackers travel as one licensed consignment, so a small parcel costs almost as much to move as a large one; the minimum keeps the transport charge from being larger than the order.

Question 4

How do I pay?

Accepted Answer

Offline, after we have confirmed your list — UPI, bank transfer or cash, whichever suits you. Ask for the payment details on the call from our own number (+916262562622). If anyone sends you a payment link or a UPI ID from a number we did not give you, do not pay it; ring us first.

Question 5

Are the prices on the site final?

Accepted Answer

They are the current rates and we keep them up to date, but stock and prices move fast in the fortnight before Deepavali. We confirm the final amount on the call, and we tell you before you pay if anything has changed or gone out of stock.

Question 6

Where do you deliver, and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

We send orders by registered road transport from HYDERABAD, Telangana. Firecrackers cannot legally go by air, courier or ordinary parcel service, so the timing depends on the transport company's route — usually a few days, longer in the festival rush. We give you the transport company and the docket number once your consignment is booked, so you can track it yourself.

Question 7

Are these licensed and safe to buy?

Accepted Answer

Aurora Crackers buys from licensed manufacturers and sells under licence, as required by the Explosives Act 1884 and the Explosives Rules 2008. Everything is packed to the rules that apply to this class of goods. Ask us for our licence details if you need them for your own records — we will send them.

Question 8

Do you sell green crackers?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Where the law in your state allows only green crackers — the NEERI/CSIR-approved kind with the QR label on the box — that is what we send. Tell us your city when you enquire and we will make sure your list only has what you are allowed to burst there.

Question 9

Can I change or cancel after I have enquired?

Accepted Answer

Freely, until the order is confirmed and paid for — an enquiry is not a booking. After the consignment is packed and handed to the transport company it cannot be recalled, so tell us about any change before that, and we will always tell you on the call when that point is.

Question 10

What if something arrives damaged or missing?

Accepted Answer

Open the consignment in front of the transport company's person and take photographs before you sign for it. Ring us the same day with the photographs and your docket number and we will sort it out — a replacement in the next consignment, or the amount adjusted. Damage reported days later cannot be traced back to the transporter, which is why the photographs matter.

Question 11

Do you take bulk and wholesale orders?

Accepted Answer

Yes — temples, schools, resident associations, corporate gifting and dealers. Send us the quantity and the date you need it by and we will quote you a rate for the lot rather than the listed retail price. For anything large, enquire early; the last week before the festival is the one week we cannot promise stock.

Question 12

Any safety advice for the day itself?

Accepted Answer

Burst in the open, well away from vehicles, dry leaves and anything that can catch. Keep a bucket of water and sand within reach, light one at a time at arm's length, and never go back to one that did not light — soak it instead. Children with sparklers need an adult next to them, not watching from the veranda.
